Magnus is MOLA’s Development & Community Project Officer, leading on the Time Truck project and its associated outreach programme, as well as devising engagement programmes of community engagement around MOLA commercial projects.

In his work for MOLA and its clients, Magnus builds on 8 years of experience of programming and communicating complex projects to a range of audiences. This includes a position as Development Officer at Sir John Soane’s Museum, working as part of a team that delivered a £7m fundraising target for the largest capital project in the Museum’s 200 year history. It was here that Magnus developed a passion for architectural history. Magnus has experience of delivering events and engagement on a wide range of projects to support specific business or outreach objectives.  

Magnus holds a BA in Archaeology, Anthropology and Art History from the University of East Anglia and an MA jointly awarded by the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Royal College of Art in the History of Design. Magnus’ archaeological specialism is in the study of Post-Medieval material culture, and he is a published academic author on the history and material culture of the English public house.
