As a member of MOLA’s Northampton management team Anthony has a portfolio of clients from the housing, quarrying and infrastructure industries. He advises on tenders, using his extensive archaeological experience to deliver on competitive pricing in a challenging market. Anthony manages a wide range of fieldwork projects and is responsible for the scheduling of work and staff deployment.

Anthony has worked on a wide range of sites in England and Wales since 1976, and has a Certificate in Archaeology from the University of Birmingham. He was a supervisor with Bedfordshire County Council from 1986 until 1998, when he joined Northamptonshire Archaeology. A number of notable projects have been directed by Anthony, including Coton medieval village in Rugby; a medieval moated manor at Tempsford, Bedfordshire and the re-excavation of a major mosaic at Croughton Roman villa, Northamptonshire.

As part of the Management Team Anthony has been responsible for excavations on several large development sites, including Stanground, Peterborough and ProLogis Park, Northampton. He has worked with national bodies such as English Heritage, The National Trust, Natural England and The Forestry Commission, at many sites including Stowe Landscape Gardens and Waddesdon Manor, Buckinghamshire, and Ampthill Castle, Bedfordshire.
