Leonie Pett is a Senior Consultant, specialising in preliminary risk assessments, environmental statements and archaeological assessments to support planning applications. Leonie first joined the team in November 2010. Key responsibilities comprise the production of archaeological desk-based assessments and Environmental Statement Chapters to support planning applications.

Notable projects Leonie has worked on include the Thames Tideway Tunnel, the New Covent Garden Market development, redevelopment at Shepherd’s Bush Market and The Ram Brewery and she recently completed the second stage of the hulk assemblages resource assessment for English Heritage.

Prior to joining MOLA, Leonie worked in Rome for two years, as part of the British School at Rome’s archaeological team, undertaking magnetometer and resistivity surveys throughout Italy, as well as in Montenegro and Sudan. During her time at the BSR, Leonie also worked on the excavations at Portus, the Ancient Port of Imperial Rome (Fiumicino) and the Roman Villa at Falacrinae (Cittareale).
