Join the Thames Discovery Programme for another Totally Thames walk along the foreshore of the Isle of Dogs. Learn more about the fascinating and unique archaeology and history of the River Thames. The TDP will be exploring the history of shipbuilding on the Isle of Dogs, including learning about Brunel’s Great Eastern. Find out more about previous investigations on the site and hear all about the most exciting discoveries to date. Walk leaders Head of Community Archaeology Nathalie Cohen and Foreshore Development Officer Eliott Wragg.

This walk for adults will take place on the foreshore and sturdy walking boots or wellingtons are advised. Please note that the foreshore surface can be very uneven.
