Battersea Power Station has long been a centrepiece of London’s skyline and as a listed Grade II historic building, it not only stands as a monument to the UK’s industrial heritage, but has captured the imagination of popular culture, making it one of the most significant landmarks in London with worldwide fame.

MOLA will be taking part in a two-day event to celebrate the launch of Battersea Power Station's Heritage Trail as part of London Festival of Architecture

Join the Time Truck team at Circus West to explore an exhibition of some of the salvaged items from Battersea Power Station, and handle artefacts which tell the story of Battersea’s rich archaeological past along the River Thames.

Find out about the heritage of Battersea Power Station and the surrounding area through a series of engaging exhibition panels. Visitors can find out what their local street looked like through historical maps.

Visitors are invited to bring their own archaeological finds for our Finds Specialist to look at during our Ask an Archaeologist session 12-3pm on both days.

No booking is necessary. To find out more about the event, please visit the London Festival of Architecture or the Battersea Power Station website.
