As MOLA’s Delivery and Implementation Manager, Amy works to ensure there are the people and processes in place to deliver quality, effective fieldwork. This involves implementing a wide range of internal projects, and includes aspects of resource forecasting, quality management and internal skills development. Amy is also passionate about creating the right environment and opportunities for people to succeed, and is the organisational lead for both our mental health and Early Careers programmes.
Amy has been professionally accredited as a Chartered Manager, meaning her management and leadership skills have been externally assessed and are considered to deliver positive, measurable impact.
Before becoming the Delivery and Implementation Manager, Amy managed MOLA’s large field team and processing department in London, which involved work forecasting and allocation, managing the logistics of deployment, and undertaking a wide range of people management activities. Prior to this Amy trained as a finds specialist, recording and interpreting building material of all periods recovered from archaeological excavations. She also worked on the Time Truck, a mobile engagement space where she talked to members of the public on different topics, and remains passionate about exploring the positive impact archaeology can have on society.
