As a Senior Conservator, Liz is involved in all aspects of archaeological conservation, from fieldwork to publication and archiving. She is an expert in current practices in conservation and has contributed to the establishment of new methods and techniques, which she has presented at conferences. Liz is responsible for the conservation of artefacts and for formation and costing for conservation work for archaeological and non-archaeological projects.

Liz has extensive experience managing the conservation needs of large urban sites. This involves close liaison with the project team and the finds specialists, in addition to processing large quantities of material within tight schedule and budget constraints.

Liz has been involved in many prestigious and complex conservation projects including at the Roman amphitheatre at Guildhall and condition reporting for the Imperial War Museum’s Holocaust exhibition, as well as precious objects from numerous excavation sites.
