Paul Rodgers

Board member and Trustee

Paul Rodgers is Group Commercial Director at the Department for Transport and a member of the DVLA Risk and Audit Committee. As head of function Paul is responsible for commercial policy, strategic supplier management, commercial capability development, procurement assurance of major programmes and commercial services to the central Department.

Paul’s career has spanned the petrochemicals and transportation industries in both the public and private sectors. He has professional expertise in commercial, procurement and programme management and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. Paul has worked on all the major transport infrastructure programmes funded by the Department since 2005, including HS2, where he was responsible for securing Ministerial approval of the £2.75Bn rolling stock procurement for the railway.

Paul has a degree in archaeology and has a strong interest in the prehistory of north west Europe.
