As Lead Built Heritage Consultant, Sam is responsible for providing detailed and practical conservation advice on policy and development management matters. Sam provides full project management services to building managers, homeowners, planning agents and architects. 

Prior to joining MOLA in 2019, Sam has had extensive experience with heritage led regeneration and conservation, most recently as Heritage Officer at Enfield Council. His experience has included funding bids and leading project management of scheme implementation. Projects include Cockfosters TfL redevelopment, Broomfield House and Forty Hall. He also developed the updated Local Lists for the London Boroughs of Barnet and Enfield.

Sam has an MSc in Sustainable Heritage from UCL, and is a full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation.

Our Heritage Consultants advise clients, helping them to achieve planning consent and discharge heritage planning conditions. Specialising in preliminary risk appraisal, heritage assessments and environmental statements, the team are also experts in preparing and submitting heritage consents, Conservation Management Plans and other heritage studies.
