Join one of our expert archaeologists from the Thames Discovery Programme on a guided walk along the Thames. Discover its past, from ship-building and breaking to the Pilgrim Fathers and kings, the stretch of foreshore between Rotherhithe and Bermondsey tells a rich story.

The walk will begin at 8:45am, meet at Hanover River Stairs, opposite Isambard Place, Rotherhithe, SE16 5QT

Please note that the surface on the foreshore may be uneven and muddy, so wellingtons or sturdy walking boots are advised. In case of inclement weather, the walk may be postponed or cancelled.
