Last night Archaeology Ambassadors and guests shared insights into some of our most exciting archaeological discoveries of recent years, through the medium of a display of photographs by Simon Norfolk. Under London, which is on display in the Museum of London’s outdoor display space, presents photos Simon took for a feature on London’s archaeology that appears in the February 2016 edition of National Geographic magazine.

The incredible artefacts photographed were all discovered on development projects, like Crossrail, Plantation Place, The Olympic Park and Motel One, and are a celebration of developer-led archaeology. Read the full article on National Geographic magazine’s website and find out more about some of the items photographed on our blog pages.
