Arrive at 10:30 to pick up your FREE blank canvas and use it to draw/paint/doodle your favourite place in Woolwich. This has been a Heritage Action Zone project, so what’s your Woolwich heritage? Bring your artwork back by 16:00, to hang it on display in our exhibition.

We have a new group of local tour leaders who want to show you the hidden secrets of Woolwich’s history. Tours will leave from the library entrance at the following times and last approximately 30 minutes:

  • 10:30
  • 11:30
  • 13:15
  • 14:30

Community collage

Join us at Woolwich Library between 10:30-16:30 to discover what we’ve achieved during this incredible 2-year project. You can also make your mark by taking part in our creative community collage of Woolwich High Street. 

Tibetan dance performance

We will be welcoming the Greenwich Tibetan Association at 15:30 for a dance performance to round up the celebrations.

Our Hut exhibition

The Hi! Woolwich Heritage Programme (2022-2024) exhibition will run from the 8th March - 8th April and can be viewed during standard library opening times.

Family drop-in workshop

A free drop-in family workshop with Our Hut will take place on Saturday 16th March from 13:30-16:30. Join them for a fun-filled afternoon of creativity and learning, as you learn about Woolwich's heritage and unleash your artistic side.
