Marine, Coastal and Intertidal
MOLA provides nationwide strategic consultancy advice on marine, coastal and intertidal assets - to the energy sector, commercial developers and land stewards. We employ a team of marine archaeologists that also has extensive experience of working in coastal and intertidal zones. Sites we deal with range from coastal defences to offshore archaeology.
From assessment to site surveys, our marine, coastal and intertidal advice and services are grounded in specialist knowledge and understanding.
Internal Geographical Information System (GIS) support enables us to efficiently pull together and interpret relevant datasets. As well as providing comprehensive assessments, we also carry out archaeological evaluation, site surveys, and ongoing monitoring of sites.
Known for our expertise in waterfront archaeology, we are hugely experienced in designing strategies for managing archaeological work in challenging environments and the conservation of waterlogged material recovered.
