Based at our Northampton Officer, I am responsible for managing fieldwork projects from tender to completion. I design programmes of archaeological fieldwork to fulfil planning regulations from watching brief through to mitigation, making sure these are delivered on time and within budget.
I have over 20 years heritage experience. I started as a field archaeologist and supervisor for commercial excavations in and around London and the south-east, as well as further afield on international research excavations. This included working as a supervisor, consultant, and field-school developer and teacher at multiple sites in Giza and Luxor, Egypt.
After supervising a series of large scale excavations in 2016 as part of the Thameslink scheme I progressed into project management and consultancy, before joining MOLA in 2020.
