I prepare, edit, and produce of all types of post-excavation reports across MOLA, this includes watching briefs, evaluation reports, final reports, post-excavation assessments (PXAs) and articles for publication. I also sometimes assist in the preparation of pre-fieldwork reports.

From 1998 to 2019 I was involved in the supervising MOLA excavations and the associated reporting and publications. Notable fieldwork projects I have supervised include excavations at Spitalfields Market, Greenwich Wharf, and Principal Place.

Since 2019 I have focused solely on post-excavation analysis, reporting, and publication. This has included a period of secondment dealing with the submission, coordinating, and overseeing of HS2 Central reporting. Recently I have been involved in reporting and publication across our London and Northampton offices, including LP Legacy projects.

I have written, contributed to, and published numerous articles, mostly for the London Archaeologist and LAMAS, including:

  • The Spitalfields Suburbs 1539–c 1880 MOLA Monograph 61 (Artillery Ground Chapter)
  • Mark Lane (LAMAS)
  • The Curtain Road Gasworks, Principal Place, EC2 (London Archaeologist, Vol.17 No. 4 / Spring 2024)

I am currently involved in the preparation of a number of publications including the medieval tide mill at Greenwich Wharf and Principal Place Roman cemetery.
