Post-Excavation Project Manager
As a Post-Excavation Project Manager with the London office, I collaborate with the field team, specialists, and illustrators to deliver a wide range of outputs for our projects. These range from reports and research papers, to press releases and journal articles, and I am always interested in developing more accessible content. As a project manager, I focus on the individual project's needs, looking for bespoke ways to enhance the value of the archaeology to benefit all stakeholders.
With more than 20 years experience in the archaeological sector in Ireland and the UK, I have a deep understanding of the industry and its place within planning frameworks. Starting my career in the field, I gradually moved to working in the consultancy and management team at L-P: Archaeology, and joined the post-excavation management team at MOLA following the merger in 2022. I have consulted on a large variety of developments and managed projects, including major works at Kensington Palace and the Tower of London, from tendering through to fieldwork, reporting and publications.
A highlight of my job is getting to work on an extraordinarily wide span of sites in London and beyond. There is always a scope to learn and get fascinated. Some of my recent projects have ranged from the Roman funerary landscape at Holborn Viaduct, to the medieval monastery at Sidney Sussex College in Cambridge, and the rich prehistoric landscape in Newquay, Cornwall.
