As a MOLA trustee I bring over 35 years experience in legal practice, as well as a fascination for the story of the country and its built heritage.
I am a solicitor in the field of dispute resolution, representing clients regionally, nationally and internationally in complex commercial cases. After beginning my career in the City of London and Hong Kong, I moved to Northampton, where I now head HCR’s Central England Office and its commercial litigation practice in the East Midlands.
I have sat on HCR's management board for 12 years and am experienced in advising on the legal aspects of governance of organisations, including charities. I was previously a trustee of the Peterborough Cathedral Development and Preservation Trust.
I am also a trustee of the David Laing Foundation (grant-making), and for some 30 years I have been the Honorary Solicitor to NAYC, a large regional charity which helps educate young people.
For the last 17 years I have held the office of Under Sheriff of Northamptonshire, and was commissioned Deputy Lieutenant for Northamptonshire in 2018.
