I am an archaeozoologist based in MOLA’s Northampton office, working as a post-excavation specialist. My role involves the identification, recording, analysis, and reporting of animal bone assemblages from archaeological sites investigated by MOLA, including material from London and across the wider UK. I work with remains from all vertebrate groups, as well as molluscs, contributing specialist insight into past environments, animal exploitation, and human–animal relationships.

I completed an MSc in Zooarchaeology at the University of York (2024–2025) and have been undertaking freelance work in the sector since the start of my master’s degree. Prior to joining MOLA in February 2026, I worked as a post-excavation technician at AOC Archaeology in Edinburgh, where I reported on fish and microfaunal bone assemblages and processed environmental soil samples.

My research interests centre on the early medieval period, with a particular focus on commensal microfaunal assemblages and their relationship to broader patterns of economic, social, and environmental change. A full list of my publications can be found here.
