As a Post-Excavation Project Manager based in MOLA’s London office, I manage the delivery of a range of commercial and research projects. My role involves co- ordinating the work of project teams to bring together the examination of finds, environmental evidence and field records, resulting in outputs such as reports, monographs and popular books. I am also responsible for the management of MOLA’s field school with Birkbeck, University of London, Thames Through Time.
Prior to joining MOLA, I worked in roles spanning the museum, research and commercial archaeology sectors. I was awarded a PhD in 2017 as the holder of a Collaborative Doctoral Award with the British Museum and University of Southampton.
I’m passionate about breaking new ground with archaeological research and communicating our results in ways that bring benefit to diverse audiences. My research interests include: archaeological art and art practice; later prehistoric decorative practices; fragmentation; repair; reuse; and recycling. I regularly publish my work in journals and books and also enjoy sharing my work through talks, lectures and other forms of outreach. I am the Secretary of the Publication Committee for London Archaeologist Magazine, and I sit on the Editorial Board for the BAR sub-series Archaeology of Prehistoric Ireland and Britain.
