I lead MOLA's conservation team, working across every aspect from fieldwork to archive deposition. We look after objects on site which need special treatment or conservation, including lifting complex objects – such as mosaics. We then prepare objects for analysis by finds specialists, including initial research. We are also involved with creating displays - both preparing objects for display and setting up the displays themselves.

I have worked at MOLA for over 25 years as an archaeological conservator, so I have had the opportunity to work on an incredibly wide range of projects. I am particularly interested in finds from waterfront sites, working with waterlogged and organic materials, especially from the Roman period.

I am an Accredited Conservation Restorer (ACR) ICON, the Institute of Conservation.
