As a MOLA trustee, I bring my extensive experience of field archaeology, especially in London-based commercial units. In fact, I began my archaeological career with the Department of Urban Archaeology (DUA), which later became MOLA.

I bring my considerable experience of both commercial and research projects to the MOLA board, having led interdisciplinary teams, and advised on excavation and recording methodologies around the world. I have an international reputation, especially as Field Director and Project Coordinator for the world-renowned Neolithic excavations at the Çatalhöyük Research Project in Turkey. Since 2012 I have been part of Historic England’s scientific dating team, managing dendrochronology casework.

As well as being a trustee at MOLA, I also currently hold the office of Honorary Secretary for the Society of Antiquaries having served a term as a trustee, and have been a fellow of the society since 2012. I am also a Trustee for the British Institute at Ankara, having served two terms as Honorary Secretary, and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London.
