As a Senior Project Manager based at our Northampton office, I manage large archaeological projects from inception to archive across the country, with a focus on the Midlands. I joined MOLA (formally Northamptonshire Archaeology) in 2011 as an archaeologist.
As a project manager I have mainly worked on infrastructure projects such as the A14 Huntingdon to Cambridge Improvement Scheme and the A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet Improvement Scheme. The highlight of my fieldwork career so far has been overseeing excavations in Overstone, Northampton, which included a complex Bronze Age funerary landscape, a Roman industrial zone with freshwater springs, and an early medieval settlement and cemetery.
I am also a keen supporter of MOLA’s public impact work, and have appeared on recent series of Digging for Britain introducing our work on the A428. I regularly deliver talks about our work to local groups and societies across the country.
