East Anglia ONE Day of Archaeology
To celebrate the completion of archaeological work on ScottishPower Renewables' East Anglia ONE project we are holding a day of archaeology, digging into the thousands of years Suffolk's past uncovered during the excavations and post-excavation analysis.
Join our team, the Cambridge Archaeological Unit, and guest specialists for a special ‘Day of Archaeology’ at The Hold in Ipswich on Saturday 12 September to celebrate the completion of archaeological work on ScottishPower Renewables East Anglia ONE project. This will include talks from archaeological specialists (booking required) and a display of finds from the scheme.
The Day of Archaeology is an event for everyone - whether you are part of a local history group or just interested in finding out more about #your local area’s past. The morning talks will focus on the prehistoric to Roman, in the afternoon specialists will cover the medieval period onwards – a full programme will be sent to ticket holders closer to the event. Booking is required the talks, but anyone wanting to see the finds display can drop in throughout the day.
