As a heritage consultancy project manager, I lead on guidance and pre-planning, such as heritage statements and consents, as well as advice and support for long-term heritage management.

I have 24 years’ professional archaeology experience, including field excavation and consultancy, and have specialised in archaeological desk-based assessments and environmental impact assessments for 17 years.

My previous jobs include working for Historic England, monitoring the condition of Scheduled Monuments in both urban and rural environments in East Anglia, and liaising with owners, land managers, local authorities and environmental organisations to promote their preservation. Prior to that I worked as a field archaeologist on a variety of sites in south-east England. Since 2001, I have also been involved with the West Essex Archaeological Group, on a volunteer-based project investigating the site of a Tudor mansion in Essex.
