As Head of Projects at MOLA London, I lead the strategic delivery of archaeological services across some of the UK’s most complex infrastructure and development schemes. With over 25 years of experience in commercial archaeology, I specialise in project design, heritage consultancy, contract management and excavation strategy.

Since joining MOLA in 1999 as a field archaeologist, I have worked in a diverse range of roles for MOLA including Site Manager, Project Director, Senior Project Manager, and my current role as Head of Projects in the London office. I have contributed to many of MOLA's major infrastructure schemes including HS1, HS2, Crossrail, Tideway, and the East London Line. I’ve also directed many large-scale excavations such as the post-medieval burial ground for HS2 South—one of the largest of its kind in Europe—and have worked extensively on urban and non-urban sites across all periods.

I take a collaborative approach to my work, partnering with clients, contractors, and curatorial bodies to integrate archaeological solutions into live construction programmes. My focus is always on delivering heritage outcomes that are lean, efficient, robust, and aligned with the client's goals.

As a published archaeologist and experienced team leader, I’m committed to advancing best practice in development-led archaeology and helping shape how we deliver heritage in a rapidly evolving urban landscape.
