As the Senior Building Material Specialist at MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology), I assess and analyse historic building materials and buildings from the Roman to the post-medieval period. This includes ceramic building material (CBM) and worked stone from Roman structures to post-medieval buildings.
I am a specialist in Roman architecture, paintings, and provincial bathhouses, and have worked on substantial buildings remains in London. My recent work includes analysis on one of the largest wall paintings from Roman Southwark.
I also have experience in medieval and post-medieval analysis including the building façade, material and construction of Skinners’ Hall, Hampton Court and Salisbury Court.
