Join our Thames Discovery Programme team to review another year of observing and recording the archaeology of the Thames foreshore.
We’ll be celebrating another year of discovery, research and recording at our Foreshore Forum on 7 December 2019 at the Bridewell Theatre St Bride Foundation, generously supported by Tideway. Speakers will include Foreshore Recording and Observation Group (FROGs) members, MOLA archaeologists working on the archaeology of Tideway and experts in intertidal archaeology in London and beyond.
All tickets include lunch and refreshments, and booking is essential. General tickets are priced at £25 and can be purchased from the Thames Discovery Programme website. Thames Discovery Programme FROG volunteers can purchase 'early bird' tickets at a discounted price of £20 up until 22 November 2019.
In memory of FROG volunteer and passionate archaeology inclusion activist, Theresa O’Mahoney, who sadly passed away earlier this year, a number of free, bursary tickets are available for disabled people and anyone on a low income. If a bursary ticket will help you attend the Forum when you might not be able to otherwise, you can request one by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and including your contact details and dietary requirements. We won’t ask you any questions about your circumstances.
