Oliver Hutchinson discusses the work of CITiZAN (Coastal and InterTidal Zone Archaeological Network) in exploring, recording, and preserving the archaeology that has been revealed by the Blackwater estuary. Discoveries include a landscape lost in time, fascinating artefacts, structures and even some former inhabitants. This is a rescheduled talk that was previously postponed in March due to the snow.
Free parking is available at the Jaywick Martello tower, and refreshments will be provided. No booking necessary.
